Sid is a Blackwater local with a trade background in heavy diesel and auto electrical work, and years spent on mine sites and around heavy plant. He started CQ Civil & Hydro Excavation in 2026 to give Central Queensland a local, non-destructive digging option that turns up when it says it will, does the paperwork properly and leaves the site clean.

Because Sid owns the business and drives the truck, there is no gap between the person who quotes the job and the person who does it. You get a straight answer on the phone, a straight price, and the same bloke on site.
