Safety and compliance

Paperwork done before the truck leaves the yard.

Mine sites, councils and tier-one contractors need to know who is coming through the gate. This is how we work, and what we can hand over for your supplier registration or tender.

Before we dig

  • Before You Dig Australia (DBYD) plans requested and checked for every job that breaks ground
  • Services located and marked before the water goes on
  • SWMS and JSA prepared for the task, site induction completed
  • Exclusion zones, barriers, signage and a spotter where required
  • Photos and measurements of every exposed service for your records
  • Site left clean, slurry and waste taken to an approved disposal point

Tickets on the truck

  • Certificate III Automotive Electrical Technology
  • Certificate III Emergency Response and Rescue
  • Confined space entry and gas testing
  • Working safely at heights
  • Dogging licence
  • Elevated work platform (boom over 11 m) licence
  • Advanced first aid, CPR and LV rescue
  • Coal mining industry generic induction units
  • Construction white card
  • Four-wheel-drive vehicle operation

The company

  • ABN 24 701 297 010 · ACN 701 297 010
  • Public liability insured, certificate of currency on request

Non-destructive by design

Why water and vacuum instead of a bucket.

An excavator bucket applies tonnes of force to whatever it touches. A water lance and a vacuum hose apply none. That is the whole point of hydro excavation: the ground gets broken up and lifted away, and a cable, pipe or conduit in the way is exposed rather than cut.

It also means we can dig in tight spots, next to structures, around tree roots and in places where a machine could not fit or would do damage. The slurry ends up in the tank, not in a pile on your road.

What we ask from you

  • Any plans, drawings or DBYD responses you already hold for the site
  • Site contact, induction requirements and access details
  • Where the slurry can be tipped, if you have a spot on site
